At South Sydney High School we aim to develop students who: - reach their potential by developing a lasting respect for learning, knowledge, skills and talents. These will include literacy, numeracy, ICT, problem solving, physical, creative, analytical, organisational and leadership skills;
- have respect for themselves, others and the society in which we live and who can actively participate in a democratic Australia with an understanding of global issues;
- behave ethically and value the contribution of all members of the community;
- have the skills required to participate in the world of work.
   We will do this by offering: - a safe, respectful, motivating and supportive learning environment that encourages a sense of belonging and respect amongst all students;
- opportunities for the community to be involved in the life of the school;
- quality education focused on teaching and learning that caters to the abilities and interests of all students and celebrates their successes.
