Parent Network

The Parent Network is a new initiative of the P&C. It is focussed on bringing you together with other parents/carers who have children in the same school year and offers you a chance to get involved in the school in a way that suits your available time and interests. The Network aims to;

• Provide opportunities for you as parents and carers to get to know other families in your child’s year group through social events and by occasionally helping at school activities (if you wish to).

• Provide you with a Contact List to enable you to be able to contact other parents in your child’s year when necessary.

• Improve communication between you and the school, particularly about what is happening to your child in their school year.

A list of Network parents/carers with contact details will be distributed to Network members in each year group. Each year will have a small group of Parent Network coordinators who may organise one or two social events for parents during the year.
